As a long term swinger too make sure to talk with your partner. Some day you may stay alone to pay the mortgage and looking after kids

We always talk to each other about people we meet separately but yes we both agree that it's always on our minds about one of us falling for someone we met,,but I suppose that is the risk of swinging

Agreed. It is always going to be a risk. Talking about it is very important. If you do lose a partner easily in this manner, well you have to ask were they really your partner bin the first place?

Regular meets alone with another person will lead to feelings for one or both. It will test the strength of your relationship and talking is so important. You have no idea what's going on in the other person's relationship. Realising a red flag situation and stopping it if necessary.

Trust is absolutely key too.

You need to have a VERY VERY strong relationship with complete openness and honesty. I thought that I had that with my Ex but sadly that wasn’t to be. She decided to have affairs behind my back and eventually leave with one guy. I lost our house (was to be my inheritance from my Dad), my adult children (they went to live with her) and had to pay her €40K + pay all debts (€55K which was mostly her debt).

Ok, rant over!!!

Anyway, I survived and recovered but I must be a right bastard all the same.

All I’m saying is be absolutely sure the you have a REALLY REALLY honest relationship that can survive and that it’s what you BOTH want.

When you or your partner can't stop seeing a person the end is near, risky risky business for mst I'd say...

That's why it's better to mix it up and see different people, if you keep seeing just one person, you're kidding yourself in my book if you think it's not a relationship. Some people can seemingly live this way and juggle it, I couldn't.
