What's the story with the Gps

Hi there is a couple on fabs that gps says is 10 to 15 miles away but 15 minutes later are 200 miles away what is going on

Maybe they were logged on at different times from different locations. They're a couple, not Siamese twins.

when online they are 10 to 15 miles away but off line within 20 minutes they are 200 miles away

They could just be changing their locations

I do it all the time when I travel. I think only the near me function uses GPS the search function just uses whatever postcode or county that’s on your profile.

Or like the other guy said they are pilots !

If you log on to fab on a computer as opposed to a mobile the location is completely inaccurate and can show as hundreds of miles away.

On a mobile the location provided is when your device last pinged a mast. So it can change if moving but the difference is minor.

I move all over the place daily and wee wifey is always a mile radius of the house.. this confuses people a lot

Could you have moved away 200 miles and you never realised?

Just double check your surroundings.
