Have you ever received a message from someone on here who knew who you were in person but refused to say who they are? Do you just block them or what do you do? and you also know their details arent correct on profile?

Yes I did. Unfortunately I sent her my photo first and she recognised me. She didn't reciprocate with a pic, she just said that she recognised me but she was discreet and my privacy was ok. We agreed to block each other.

Yes, but I sent the message not knowing I new them and got a reply back saying she knew me. We had great meets and a laugh and when we would meet after in public just had that knowing grin that no one else knew anything.

But every one is different and and can react differently to knowing someone. So if they aren’t forth coming on who they are then I agree with the earlier post and just block them.

Yes it's happened a few times and I find it very creepy. If you're going to tell someone you've recognised them you should at least tell them how you know them and who you are, otherwise it feels very threatening.

That's what I think too, I feel very uneasy about it. The site is about discretion and I dont blab about anyone on here, those I know on here before fab can back me on that. I just think its creepy. Blocking someone who I dont know is fine, but what happens if I block him I will still be creeped out meeting people because I dont know if its him or not

Something like that happened today to me.

A girl put up a building name on her status. I just happen to know the company that is there so I said did she work there and she replied did I. I said no but I'm often in there. Suddenly messages sent and receive gone, not deleted, gone completely. She was either banned or she deleted her profile.

Yeah don't ask women on Fab where they work, or where they live. It's scary.
