Right, from Inter Cert & Leaving Cert English

we remember studying poxy, boring haiku's

A haiku is a short form of Japanese poetry

with three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables in every verse

A quick example...

Just waiting to play" (5 syllables)

Or

"Meeting me tonight?

So, here's the challenge

should you accept it...

Can you do your old English teacher proud

today with one verse of a haiku?
