In defence of the gentlemen, they can often spot these guys just as easily as us ladies can spot when our own gender are being fake. Hubby sometimes advises that I be careful of some men at work based only on passing comments from me, aghast as I may be when he warns me - he is yet to be wrong!

Both sides of this 'argument' (bar the couples and scant few women replying), seem to assume that men need a 'method' to try and get women's attention on this site. Whether that be, to use the fucking odious phrase, 'white knighting' and or whether it's being all super anti-cool and calling it out and therefore being more 'genuine' and 'woke' then the knights.

Sozzels, but both sides are misogynistic as hell. Women, men, trans folk, anyone - aren't fucking prizes to be won. Not convinced or deluded by an act, an attitude or a persona. They're people. You don't treat people like a agenda. You treat them with respect, with empathy and with basic human decency.

Look of course there are guys in here who laugh a little too easiky at a hot womans post or has flexible views depending in who is posting. But they are the minority on here, most people as far as I see give a pretty honest opinion when posting.

As for actual white knighting I dont think it happens nearly as much as the people who shout about it think it does.
