Just heard this on the radio and didnt actually know it was still played.

The only time i go on my knees is when I'm doing oral on my partner depending on where we are.

Do irish people pay attention to it now a days

I don't pray if I hear the Angelus as it was always

just a word dash within a minutes time limit...

...to me anyway

Instead, I observe it as a minute of silence

and an opportunity for others to either

remain silent, meditate or pray if they so wish...

A relevant minute to take time out

of your day if nothing else

Yes I think Irish people pay attention to it. Certainly not like in the olden days but perhaps only for a few seconds timeout. No harm in it either. Antiquated, most definitely....
