Experiment :

Does making an effort help with success on fab, or is it just luck?

So, There are endless threads by guys regarding not getting views/messages/meets. With the overwhelming response being we don't make an effort.

This is an opportunity to do something about it.

Write a couple of lines here that would entice the ladies to have a look at your profile, increasing views, maybe getting a mail or two and maybe, just maybe, lead to that elusive coffee.

So dicky up your profile ( no pun intended) get a pic or two up and start writing.

This is purely for research purposes........ and maybe partly for the craic!!!

I've already made the effort with my profile and it's a fair reflection of me and why I'm here.

I don't "dicky up" to suit the occasion or the thread.

Anyone I've met can already vouch for how real and genuine I am and those I've met have also made an effort and are equally real and genuine.

No point in trying to sell something you don't have in stock.

A good profile is definitely important and as said farther up no point in pretending to be something you are not. If I like the look of someone or if they message me the first thing I look at is their profile. A well written profile with pics will always get a reply or a wink fab or message. A lazy one I won't bother.

In my humble opinion...

Things that'll help:

Keep cock pics private

Have plenty of pics

Show you've got a sense of humour and can laugh at yourself

Don't have any bullshit legal notices

Things that won't:

Lots of cock pics

"I'll fill this in later"

Describing yourself as genuine A man referring to himself in the 3rd person is an instant turn off.

Have tried to keep an eye on posts about profiles and silently improve from suggestions. It's not bad, but again it's only a profile and can't sell me as good as in person
