Blocking for what.

Just have to laugh sometimes at people blocking after making a comment on the forums they don't agree with.It's not as if I have any attention of messaging them.I always tend to have a sneaky look and sure enough blocked.

When you get the notice page that you're blocked, you have a drop down menu in the upper right corner. One of the options is to block the said profile.

I'm on lots of people's block lists. You come across them now and again. Most I've had no interactions with at all.

Doesn't bother me, as it's not like they are my friends and suddenly they stopped talking to me and don't want me to see them anymore.

So oh no a stranger has me blocked, what ever will I do? ...move on as they mean nothing to me anyway

I've never blocked anyone because of forum debate.

That to me seems a little wrong.

You close the doors to contradicting opinions.

Yes, if they message me directly with abuse, then I usually respond but, if their second response is still abusive, I block.

I know it doesn't mean you can't see their posts on a thread, so you will still be kind of engaging with them by reading.

If it's forum debate, usually better to engage and rebuttal/ disprove their comments.

As someone else said.. people use the blocklist as a filter. If you post something in a forum that makes people think you arrnt the kind of person they want to fuck, then the easiest way to ensure that is to add you to the list... it saves timewasting if/when looking for someone to meet later on. We have loads in the list, and if we didnt we woildnt remember all those names of people we arent going to fuck.

Well I've been here for some time now and never made any attempt to message any of those that blocked me.But sure enough as soon as I say something on forums they don't agree with im blocked. Now it might sound like it bothered me but it doesn't in fact it's funny.Because at this stage I virtually know it's going to happen.

If they have blocked you and you try to access their profile it says profile unavailable but in the top right hand corner there’s a drop down menu and in there you can block them

True... To a degree. Someone you have blocked is still able to post on the forums, and the simple and obvious thing to do if someone's posts irritate you, is not to read them. But, what does become tedious is when someone follows you around the forums making very personal comments in reply to anything you post. This is where the block button has it's only benefit in relation to the forums, as it's against site rules to use the forums to interact with someone who has blocked you. It's there to protect you from this kind of bullying behavior.

Obviously I'm not saying this is why you've been blocked by anyone OP, only those who have blocked you know why... I'm just explaining that it isn't completely pointless in relation to forum use

Someone who decided to block someone was clearly never going to fuck you.. so nothing lost.

People block us sometimes. Thats fine. I've never thought to ask them why. Makes no difference to us. Plenty more fish etc.

I'm sure all the points you made above are valid for blocking someone.But none of them are the reasons that I'm referring to in my opening post.Again I don't want to make contact in anyway with said people or have never p.m them all this happened because they don't agree with what I have to say on the forums.Im simple asking what's the point in blocking someone you didn't agree with on a certain subject.

True... To a degree. Someone you have blocked is still able to post on the forums, and the simple and obvious thing to do if someone's posts irritate you, is not to read them. But, what does become tedious is when someone follows you around the forums making very personal comments in reply to anything you post. This is where the block button has it's only benefit in relation to the forums, as it's against site rules to use the forums to interact with someone who has blocked you. It's there to protect you from this kind of bullying behavior.

I block people from the forums all the time if I get a vibe that I wouldn't like them. Saves us both the time and hassle of messaging and discovering we're not a good match in the future.

Id only block someone on the forum if they followed me from thread to thread and I wanted it to stop. Most of the time I dont even click onto people on the forums profiles, even if they have totally disagreed with me and insulted me.

Also I will look on phone, I rarely use fab on phone.

Wouldn't call it judging

After all the block button is just another filter button

Ur allowed to give ur opinion on forums as you do allready

they are entitled to choose who the chat to and the block button is saving both people time on wasted chat.

of course they are and I never said otherwise but in my opinion it's childish to block someone over a difference of opinion on a particular topic.But then again that's just my opinion on the matter. Like I've said before I have or had no intention of messaging those people.

If I get blocked, with or without any apparent reason, it saves everyone's time and effort and allows us both, more time to interact with people that really share the same values and interests.

If my face pics or my forum opinions are the reasons someone blocked me, it isn't much I can do about it, as I can't change them to please everyone on Fab.

As for not being able to perve on someone's ass & tits pics because they've blocked me, I don't lose any sleep over that either.
