Why do men call you a time waster when you tell them you not meeting them. This guy has been messaging me all the time and i kept telling him im not meeting him but he continues to message and then finally last time he told me im a time waster how annoying is that ,have anyone else here experienced this

Spend a bit of time learning the features of fab.

You can set filters, block people, report people.

Fab is supposed to be fun and remember you're in control of any conversation not the other way around

You can set filters, block people, report people.

Fab is supposed to be fun and remember you're in control of any conversation not the other way around"

I actually do understand this, but when someone you've already turned down is being pushy about meeting and making you feel uncomfortable, is that not an abuse of your tolerance? He may have even seen your continued willingness to converse with him as a sign that you might change your mind... The first thing that I read on your profile was that no reply means no interest, from which a literal person might infer that any reply at all means you are interested (and some folk really are that literal in their interpretations lol). Unfortunately some just view 'no' as a 'no for now', so you will have to back that 'no' up with something else, or they'll continue to hope/chance their arm.

Just block people who continue to mail after you've told them no. It's the only way. And don't give it a second thought.

We regularly block people if they message and we aren't interested, it's nothing personal it's just to declutter fab, more chance of finding people you are interested in that way.

Oh just to clarify, we do respond with a nice 'sorry not interested happy fabbing'. Just another way to filter fab and find the people you want to

I think too many look at the block as a bad thing, the way we see it there's no point in people we've no interest in clogging updates, and likewise no point us showing up on people we're never gonna meet, so far so good

He feels you wasted his time because he spent time messaging and didn't get what he wanted or expected. Bottom line is he is a dick. Block and move on. I know you may not like to block but it really does save a lot of hassles from self entitled arseholes. Don't let it put you off though. Patience is key on this site.

I think you may need to start blocking more. It will hopefully drive the point home to people that you are not interested.

I block people who don't want to meet me. Saves me messaging them down the line by accident.

As such, those who read it understand and act accordingly, those who are genuine Fabbers.

When the idiots who don't read the profile contact you regardless, offer an olive branch covered in strychnine, telling them that they are not for you, which they would know, if they've read your profile.

If, after that, they continue to contact you with pushy emails, just block them.

The Block button is there for a reason and, unfortunately, has to be used, on occasion.
