For the majority of people, itll mean an extra hour in bed, for those lucky to be partying or playing tonight it's an extra hours fun, sadly for unfortunate folks working it's a long night.

What's your views, should the daylight saving time be abolished? Is it beneficial to you tonight

Genuinely think it's pointless as during the day most of us are in work anyway..

I'll be glad of the extra hour sleep as I'm working tomorrow morning. Feel bad for the night staff tho who will be doing a 13 hour shift tonight. Not bad enough that I'll go in an hour early tho

I say just let it be. What really is the point? What are they hoping to achieve? There will still be the very same daylight hours in any given day.

I have to agree itsnpointless animals need to be feed at the same time everyday to reduce stress

I agree I know I will be up to feed my horse at his normal time tomorrow morning or he will be kicking about the stable looking for his breakfast. I will hop back into bed for the hourafter tho. But ye just leave it at winter time hours don't put it forward again and it would be fine.

I heard it was started in Britain so children wouldn't be walking to school in the dark on winter mornings. That was in the days when kids walked...

Although it probably is pointless in this day and age but I like it.

I love the long bright summer evenings and the contrasting short dark evenings in winter.

I hope we don't get rid of it.

I'll be working tonight but still only have to do 12 hours so will have an extra hour in bed tomorrow.

I believe it was during WW1 and was brought in to maximise daylight and conserve energy
