This, also men tend to be far less circumspect about a casual sex partner, if they aren't going to have to walk down the street with them or introduce them to family and friends, their standards tend to be considerably lower.

It's because there are about 30 times as many men on this site as women, so the women can be very choosy.

The next question is "why are there 30 times as many women as men", to which the answer is that our society still stigmatizes sexual women (despite the sexual revolution being presumed to have happened 50 odd years ago).

Actually, although it seems that way at first, if you are a guy who genuinely wants to meet, can be decent and nice in person, will show up when you arrange to etc .. then FAB is your oyster. Single men who meet all those criteria are actually really hard to find!

Well, I hope you're right! I'm new here, so just dipping my toe in the water so to speak. I have a (non-monogamous) lover in Liverpool who I play with when I can, though I'm on the lookout for people a bit closer to home!

Never really understand people who behave like d*ckheads on sites such as this. It's as if some forget that there are actual real people behind the profiles. Manners cost f*ck all, as they say!

It may just be a numbers game when it comes to women and men on sites such as this. Any women I've chatted with on Fab tend to receive countless messages, so I guess women can afford to be a bit more picky when it comes to partners.

I think it is simply down to numbers, there are far more single guys on this site compared to single fems or couples, survival of the fittest after that, at a guess I'd say single men outnumber females and couples at least 10/1

Not really. Women are way more at risk alone with a man than men are, due to being less physically strong than women. An average man would overpower an average woman if he were determined enough. Women DO need to be more careful than men for physical safety reasons.
