I have noticed myself that some men give away a surprising amount of information about themselves, I think men in general are not as cautious of strangers as women are.

I work in a very public place, have my face up in public on my profile, yet only once someone recognized me and messaged me later asking if it was me.

One person in 2 years. Am I a master of disguise or do people have better things to do than go looking for strangers who may be on fab?

Hear a lot of stories going like "God forbid someone would recognize me down the street and assume people I'm with are on fab"

Come on... we're not celebrities. Nobody cares who you're with down the street.

****HIJACK **** Aapols!

Sorta the same topic...

Met a dude from here a few years ago, fucked twice but not really my kinda guy - always testing to go without a Johnny! (No ta)

Fast forward, 2 years I find out he's dating my real life friend (not on fab) and shes getting kinda serious about him...so I message him, for him to may be say it to her? He warns me off, but I said if we meet out and she susses, I wont lie to her. I was giving him a chance to discuss the lifestyle with her which he had not as yet!

Now they're exclusive, going on holidays together & that prick is still logging in on here!

Dont want to be a bitch or loose a friend but I think she should know, for her sexual health alone if nothing else!!!!

I'd advise keep well out of it, unless you know he is actively meeting on here and putting her at risk. She might not thank you if the relationship end's because of it. But that's just my take on it..told a friend before had seen her guy with another girl. She believed him and it only made thing's awkward between us

I'd rather things were akward because of the truth than easy because of lies.

In fact if they never want to talk to me again, thats okay.

I have told a girl that 3 or 4 guys she dated are assholes, and she never believes me, but always agrees with me in the end when they break up.

It wasn't easy I told a friend and they chose to believe the story he told and is still with him. As i said unless she know's he is actively putting her friend at risk. At the moment all he is guilty of is previously meeting on fab and logging in. Maybe the friend know's about this site and is getting involved. I just think it might cause more hassle than it's worth. Also the fact she has been with him before..that might not sit well with her friend. Especially if it is getting serious

your imagination

Only by people I've met or know... some are friends I'll stop and chat with, others may be working or in company, so I'll just say hi in passing or we'll give each other a nod of acknowledgement. Despite having public face pics from time to time, I've never had a complete stranger say 'hey aren't you on Fab?' or mail me saying they'd seen me out and about... I've seen lots of people's face pics on here, either in FPF swaps, or on their profiles, but unless they're someone I'm chatting with regularly and forming a rapport with, I'm unlikely to remember a face I've seen just once or twice in a photo.

It's a bit like running into someone when they're not in their work uniform... You might see a face and feel a vague sense of recognition, but not be able to place it.

Now if I started wearing my lingerie or 'Fab' ensembles in public... That might trigger some people's recollection alright

My late partner, the couple profile we had, she used to get recognised all the time even when we didn't have face pics. They usually recognised her from certain dresses she wore or whatever (so ladies take note).

Often it would be after we'd come out of a store or shopping centre and then we would have a message from someone asking if she had just been in such and such a place because they think they had recognised her but wasn't sure. Nobody ever actually approached her though as they respected that she would be in company.
