Might as well, we will beat NewZealand.

Now it is tier 1 teams it goes down to the "Black arts", as is often gleefully exclaimed by the commentators like when England has to scrum a side lower than them they remind us England is well versed in the "Black arts".

So it will be a more traditional game of trying to cheat each other and see who gets away with the most. Ireland will do a lot better from here on out.

This may have been true in the past. But I think in the last 15-20 years this has changed.

Not a great fan of it myself. I'd rather be in the stands of a soccer match throwing bottles at the other common fans myself

Load of crap so far ..teams getting beaten 50plus points .how could be that good for the game .only sport that you don't have to qualify to go to the finals ..about 6 or 7 half decent teams in the world. It's a joke competition

"Rugby is an elitist game nobody cares"

Complete nonsense - Ulster support is predominantly working class and the game is played throughout the province - across denominations too I may add.

THIS"

Well when I bring my 7yo to rugby training I see all sorts of people there. In fact I would suggest that the vast majority of people there are from "working class" families.

Really?? None of the teams qualified to play in Japan? Im pretty sure they didn't just put all the countries names in a hat and pick out 20 of them.

Every team did qualify. Fact.

Is there a world sporting event where the poorer teams that qualify dont get hammered?? Don't think so. It's just par for the course I think. It happens in every sport.

Romania qualified but they were expelled for playing illegal players and the next ranking team Russia took their place!

Trouble with Irish soccer , you'd be only one in the stand throwing bottle at yourself...

Actually there wouldn't be a stand, you'd be on terrace...

Second thoughts there wouldn't be a terrace you'd be stood on side of pitch leaning against rail..or possibly rope...
