People give out on here they don’t receive replies so after a couple of messages from the same person most times I’ll eventually reply and say not interested most are good and say thanks for the response and leave it at that.

But there are a number of people here and on the rise that give you a torrent of abuse if you reject them and then try to say they’d be lowering their standards to begin with and you’re lucky they’re offering to meet you because you’re not apparently up there with the hot women on the site.

I don’t care if your an Adonis or Aphrodite if I’ve no interest in you and politely decline why can’t you just leave it at that?

Yes it’s crap to be rejected and it stings but show some class instead of belittling yourself to try tear someone else down?!

I got a load of abusive messages before for rejecting someone, all I said was thanks but no thanks. I should of be rude and just deleted the message instead. So I just blocked them after that. It's nice to be nice.

I think there has been an increase in certain types of behaviour. I've noticed it certainly. Also a lot more fake accounts than usual, which may be where some of it is coming from.

Aye, everyone has likes and dislikes. I rarely follow up a first message unless I forgot to include a face pic or body pic.

I get some messages from people I'm not interested in and I just drop a not interesr, best of luck in that case, but I'm not inundated with messages like single females or couples.

There has been a huge increase. A certain troll seems to have many accounts and has also taken to private messaging people now.

Seems also the paper article has brought fresh blood to the site unfortunately it seems that not all are nice.

Enough white knights already on this thread so I'm not going to join the quilt. I will say though that, as in real life despite being online, you're dealing with normal real people on fab and it's a good motto to treat everyone as you'd like to be treated yourself. Fab is for fun and there is no fun in being an online troll unless you're seriously dimented with a chip on your shoulder. As is real life, rejection is an everyday experience so by now any adult should be able to respond to it in an adult manner and not toss their toys out of the pram.

I hate the word "standards" cos it implies that classically good looking people are higher up. It also makes people think that they can be dicks to anyone they don't fancy.

Having personal tastes is completely normal though, and some people are more rigid with theirs than others - and that's allowed. No matter what you look like, you're never gonna be everyone's cuppa tea.

If you don't meet someone's "standards" move on and invest your time in someone who thinks you're a fucking ride. That's what everyone deserves.
