I’m going to be on a road trip with a friend for a long weekend in November. I was wondering if anyone could recommend places to stay, things to do, people to meet

Well I suppose it's all down to what you have in mind, I'm assuming you would like some Fab activity? But outside of that, Dublin city has some great night life and probably most varied options. Galway is a great city for music and live bands, if you are looking to take in some nice scenery then Kerry would be my choice.

But if you are looking for great fab type activities and nice people then Limerick/tipperary area has loads to offer.

Well I suppose it's all down to what you have in mind, I'm assuming you would like some Fab activity? But outside of that, Dublin city has some great night life and probably most varied options. I’d avoid Dublin we too expensive Kilkenny is a brilliant town for nightlife as is athlone loads too do and see in both places Galway and Waterford are both lively towns too
