Short term profiles

This has happened to me a few times. I start chatting to a newbie, we have a nice conversation and we get on really well, so we make plans to meet up.

When I log back into fab a few hours later they are gone, account deleted. I find it really strange.

I am guessing that I have wasted an hour or two chatting to some weirdo with a fake profile or she couldn't handle the 100's of cock pics that she probably received in the first hour she was on.

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

Go caught by a couple of them too, am sure some just pop on for a look and play along with no intention of doing anything and others perhaps have intention and bottle it and leave but either way I tend to avoid them now.

When you narrow it down to the real people you would like to get to know and then depending on if its reciprocated it really is a very small pool of potentials

Some, as people have previously said, are people who simply get freaked out by the aggression. Particularly if they were unfortunate enough to sign up on a weekend when the hangover horn warriors are at their most rampant. I think most women will agree that Saturday and Sunday mornings are the worst for that.

Some are just profiles set up temporarily to stalk or send abuse to someone in particular. I've experience of this with both male and female repeat offenders, so I now have newbies blocked. This hasn't stopped either of them from chatting to, getting cam verified by, or even meeting other people in the week it takes to get past that filter... But usually once they manage to send me their nasty little message they're gone... Profile deleted... Until they set up a new one.

Probably the reality of what they're after doing ( joining up to fab ) kicks in ,say WTF are they at and then they just delete ..

It really is. Right now in my local updates there are 10 new nonsense profiles set up over the past 5 days by the same person. Pure gibberish on them, but the profiles don't need to be clever or witty if the sole purpose of them is to troll someone, right?
