Well at least you'd be able to make it what people were saying and you might even get to see a couple of football trophies

Nightlife on a school night I wouldn’t know Harcourt St I think does be good during the week but think it’s mostly students and hotels look around Ballsbridge or Rathmines, they are close to town

To be fair to Citywest, it has a fine Lemongrass restaurant. Its also really close to the Luas terminus so it's easy to get to the city centre from there.

Newbridge

You'll find loads of clubs open in the City. Got Coppers to fall back on if you don't find anything. Also Flannerys on Wexford St.

Does be great craic on a weeknight. As you'll have all the nurses out.

I like being the creepy old guy in Coppers, friendly crowd but doesn't realyy get going until midnight.

Dicey's Gardening club on the same street does €2 drinks all night on a Wednesday and Thursday I think, or possibly every week night I've been there.

If you want to be close to Wexford/Camden St then Travelodge Rathmines is probably a good shout to check out.

Depends how much time you plan on staying in the hotel as opposed to about town though.

Book the hotel attached to coppers, the Jackson court. Free into coppers and can skip the queues .

Why the F would you stay in citywest if you want to be in the city. To put it in a kerrymans terms it's like going to killarney and staying in tralee. €60 taxi fare from town.

Take it from someone living in the city centre, there's busy spots every night of the week. Enjoy yourself, go pick up a tourist in temple bar
