I knw this isn't the best of places to come on regarding personal issues but I feel like venting, tbh.

I feel so fed up lately, I feel like everything seems to be a effort with everyone.

Work, university, etc...

I just want to make m8s and chill out.

Missing how friendly irish ppl are etc.

We all have times when we feel like that. The key is to know that it will pass. And it’s good to reach out when you’re not feeling great. Maybe try to get home for a weekend to reconnect with people or invite some friends over to you. I recently had a weekend with friends and family and it really helped me relax recharge my batteries.

That's just life.

It's not about the circumstances. Its all about the attitude.

Learn to brush it off and move on like it's no big deal. Whatever it may be.

Some days and weeks and even months may seem harder than others.

Sometimes you hit a patch where every day brings a new problem instead of joy. Very important to remember that it's all good in the end. If it's not good - it's not the end.

Whenever you feel alone - scroll down through your phone book. When was the last time you rang your lost long friend just for a catch up? I promise it helps

Just remember you are not alone that’s the main thing and reach out to others... you’d be surprised how many people feel alone on a daily basis when they don’t look like they could possibly be. Hugs x

Irish people are he friendliest people in the world, but the hardest to make friends with.

I've always been popular, in work, uni etc

But I have exactly zero friends in Ireland. I'm fourth or fifth generation Dubliner, and I have no childhood friends still talking to me, no adult friends, and all my friends are abroad.

Within 2 or 3 weeks in France who are the rudest people in Europe I had made friends. In Wales I made friends in a few weeks. In Ireland? Well none.

The only friends I have in Ireland right now are people from abroad, italy etc who I seen trying really hard to make friends and getting nowhere, just guys wanting sex and not friendship, so I made friends with them.

I don't even have a best man if I was to get married.

That's just how Ireland is.
