Women’s height, breast size, life expectancy and standard of living has changed over the years.

I see curvy as a good way of describing myself as I’m not thin and don’t attend the gym and that is what I am happy with.

Each to their own and what you are attracted to is up to your own preference but if we all put fabulous people would still comment.

It’s the world we live in.

Average is overweight tho - the majority of the population, male and female, are overweight or obese according to BMI.

(ps BMI is an absolutely useless and bullshit measurement that tells us nothing about health and needs to die in a fire)

OP we get a lot of these threads and as I always say, if you have an issue with the kind of women who are describing themselves as curvy, you can just write "No Fat Chicks" on your profile and I guarantee you they'll self-select themselves out by blocking you. Like I just have!

I have been various dress sizes through the years, especially having my kids..but one thing never changes, people call me curvy. I guess I maintain an hourglass like shape with weight gain/loss. So curvy definitely isn’t a particular size at all. Atm as I’m +size I have selected ample instead of curvy as I don’t want any false pretences. However, each to their own.

I had curvy on mine but got crap about it so changed to average which according to ops calculations I just squeeze into. Lol.

I mean seriously does it matter look at the pics of the person you are talking to, chat to them etc if they don't float your boat move on. It's not rocket science. And like someone said if you only like a particular type write it on your profile.

Rarely will two people here agree on a body type, I dont believe in arguing or disagreeing with peoples opinion, especially if it hurts their feelings.

If someone is rude....instant block, dont bite back as you have "an eye for an eye situation"

Most profiles have a picture or two that will tell you what you think it is so no point in arguing with the person over their interpretation of their own body, if their your type message.....if not perhaps move on

When we first joined here, I had herself down as curvy, within a few months, I realized unfortunately that going by the fab scale she was definitely not Curvy. So had to change it to average, I got pissed off as average is definitely not a word to use to describe herself so I decided recently to use Fabulous.. its way more vague

I wouldn't even look at them descriptions I'd rather judge from a picture, you can tell straight away if they are what your into or not. Call yourselves whatever you think describes you and wouldn't worry what others find as an accurate description. And this whole BMI thing is total rubbish. Look up the spring bok topless team photo ladies and according to bmi they are all heavily overweight hahaha. I apologise for any flooding in the downstairs departments in advance

Im slim but never judge people before I meet them face to face. Yes, I agree some of us have problem with weight but it doesnt mean these people are worse than others. First personality then physical atteactiveness

Size ??..it's like this l knew a guy once , bit of a smart arse , thought he knew everything about everything,you know the type ,and he was married to a foreign lady,so this one day l met them ,asked her how she was setting in living in this country etc etc ,to which she chatted about ,next thing ,her Ex. ,(yes they've split since) butted in while showing his hand with his thumb and forefinger approx an inch apart and said while laughing " shur she thinks this is 6" inches "...and l replied to him .." shur why wouldn't she ,you keep telling her that it is !! "...so to me ,size ,like beauty is in the eye of the beholder..some guys might think they're well hung but in the ladies eyes ,that opinion might be totally different.
