Ireland would want to switch on rapidly or they're going to be beat. They class themselves as one of the best teams in the world. Go and show it.

go way will ya. You class Ireland as one of the best in the world. New Zealand would bear Japan by 30/40 points. Japan were beaten by 50 points last week by south afica. Ireland were woeful in that game.

sure they were going to run into south Africa or new Zealand anyway. On that performance Ireland have no business going any further.

Any time Ireland got the ball in the second half which was very little, they got the ball standing still. They should have been trying to pin the ball in the corners.

Dont know why people expect Ireland to do better.

Like I said they look out of shape to me, gasping for air when they barely reached a trot, they are hardly the Dublin team, no mental strength. Just a bunch of privileged guys who force themselves on women.

Rory's face said it all when they came back on in second half -defeated with no answers.

Japan showed them what ball handling was and wanted to win.

NZ will be planning very hard for their match and there could be a surprise there as NZ aren't the same team as before

I think Carty was shown up today, we needed to get Carbery on much earlier

We had no one taking control and giving the team direction

I think that was because he was lucky with the kicks to the wing, great that he saw the opportunities but when we were under pressure I didn’t see any leadership or control

in fairness to the chap we had little or no ball. I will say twice in secknd half that I remember he kicked the ball straight down the throat of Japan's back 3

Newzealand came to see off the power players, South Africa and England. That means they are slower.

This means if you get them into a rugby game, then they are there for the taking. But you would need speed, intensity, technical ability, and luck.

Ireland couldn't even win their own lineouts against japan. They left their genetic freaks at home people like Toner who would have won the lineout and maybe built a platform for 2 tries. They took people who have a head for the game over genetic freaks, and to be honest, they just dont look fit, fast, or aggressive.

Its a shame, because if there was ever a world cup to take NZ scalp, this was it.

japan were beaten by 50 points by south africa last week?? where was this on ..south africa arent even in the same group..japan beat south africa in the 2015 world cup and it was a massive shock..south africa went on to the quarter finals and japan didnt make it out of the group..that game today took serious effort they wont be able to keep that pace up..Ireland were still tired after the scotland game..I still predict Ireland will get to the quarters easily..you have to box clever not go all out and try get yourself killed which is what japan did today..Its not all doom and gloom Ireland are still in it to win it

Nah Japan were average, Ireland were brutal.

Winning your own lineouts is basic. Did they even have a maul?

Kicking into their territory when they commited no players to the ruck and all of them are up and ready to run, and you have 7 people in the ruck, rucking against no one, is just garbage stuff, in my opinion.
