So, I've been here a while, on and off. I've not posted that much here, but the same type topics keep cropping up... Why cant I get a meet....How do you get a verification... that type of thing..
Here's my take... a comparison to the car sales section of DoneDeal.
So... lots of cars on view...
Shiny new ones
Shiny almost new ones
Desirable used ones
Dodgy used ones
Vintage Cars
Car that 'need a bit of work'
Big Heavy SUV's
Svelte Sporty Models
You get my drift....
And on to the sales...
Some cars sell within minutes
Others have hundreds of 'views' and maybe a few 'saves' but don't sell
Some cars are really desirable, but just ever so slightly out of reach... a bit too rich for the ordinary Joe
Others languish for days, weeks, months with no views and certainly no sales.
Others vanish a few days after cropping up.... where did they go ?
Did they sell, were they even real in the first place ??
But every now and again, a gem appears, it ticks all the boxes, colour, trim, price.... so you call the number... no answer.... then you text.... still no answer.
Then suddenly out of the blue, you get a call, apologies, I was away for a few days, I didn't notice your message. I'm getting hundreds of calls, all from tyre kickers, and time wasters.
So... is the car still for sale ??#
YES... a result. Can I call to see it...another YES...
So, you call, and view.. with baited breath, it all checks out, the curves, the feel and smell of leather, you almost slip into it like a well worn glove, so comfy and soft, yet when pushed, hard and rewarding. You almost feel that shove in the back when you press the throttle... fully open now, and it's screaming back with pleasure.
You stop... a tiny bead of sweat on the brow, was it ok ? will you accept my offer ?
Yessss.... Deal Done ?
Now for round 2... maybe a moonlight spin to the beach..
