If I'm out of the age range a person has, can still see their profile and pics, can they still see a status I put up?

I an see ur status & you are not looking for guys ... i am outside many peoples age ranges, i can see their profile, i just can message them due to their filter settings

There are thousands of profiles here so I doubt they would see or even notice if your not on their radar. And seen as you are out of her age range then you can assume she won't see it.

If your out of someone's age range respect it and moved on .

You status updates wont shownon her local update section the give a feed of profiles within the ranges you selected...

Also its a bit creepy putting peoples names in updates because you cant message them, not a good look, and the other women that will see it may be out off meeting you. Just something to think about before posting it

They are able to see it but the likelihood is that they won't.

Age might just be a number but if someone is looking for a specific age range then surely you have to respect that?

Ive an age range that im interested in if profile i come across is over or under that ill always message them....plus id never chat or message anyone with another woman's name in there status update

But he is blocked due to his age so he has tried and failed to say hello. Any further steps not make contact by updates or forum posts verges on creepy and at the very least is a bit cringe...its like texting some girl getting no reply then messaging her on FB to see of she got your text, they maybe textingbher friend tonsee if she has her phone on her

Lots of 'respect the age' type responses. Thing is...fab has given users the a ability to ensure that their age range is all that is able to contact you. You go to message settings and choose the option. Some do not use it, as the use their age range as a guide. So if you are a little outside, you can still message the contact.

So users do not need to rely on the respect of others. They have the control. So respect doesn't have to come into it.

So if you have stated that you are looking for a certain age range on your profile but never knew about the filters who's fault is it if someone sends a message to you?

Read the profile and if you don't meet the requirements move on. It really is that simple. It's a massive show of disrespectful behaviour ignoring people's wishes because you are interested in them.

If l land on a profile and they have specific age limits etc on their profile and if l'm outside of them l respect their choice and don't message even if they don't have the specific age filters up..I believe in respect to members wishes...and they certainly don't need to be trying to deal with people who are outside what they've already stated ..just my tuppence worth on age limits..
