I have a tendency to nickname everyone. But mostly in an affectionate way, so 99 out of 100 times I'll call people by their nickname and they'll respond to it. On rare occasion I'll intensely dislike someone and give them a name I'd be reluctant to use in a public setting

I have one customer who is known as "the merry widow". Her husband isn't dead but she keeps telling us she wishes her was.

Another is known as Mrs Tits.

I used to have a guy working with me who was terrible with names so he'd come up with a descriptive name for everyone.

One guy gets referred to as Punto because he has big ears that remind my colleague of the wing mirrors on his Fiat.

A lad in work is known as Spoon. The apprentice that is always by his side has gotten the name Tea Spoon.
