Doubt it, theres a pub there called the Thatch. Even Portlaoise would be fairly quiet during the week.

There is feck all going on there on a Thursday night. The Thatch is grand for a drink. But there's not that many active Fabbers around these parts especially not on a Thursday night. But you could try to put a meet up.
