Is it just when I go on or is the Irish chatroom always kind of dull. Seems to be people on it all the time but only 2 or 3 talking

Ah wish I was around back then. It's very poor now I think people only reply to the people they know

I think Kik has killed off the chat room esp Kik groups

I'm not in any so can't recommend one but I'm sure someone here will point you in the right direction.

It doesn't help that cams can be a bit tricky to get working on the variety of devices that people use now. Back in the day is was all PCs with flash and it 'just worked'.

I went in to the Irish chatroom a few weeks ago or of a sense of nostalgia.... And instantly regretted it. A few years ago it really was a great spot.... Same faces every day but there were upwards of 20.... maybe 30 very sound people. There was always banter and craic. It really is just a shell of what it used to be.

Shame really

Would love to see it returned to the days of yore but alas such is the way of things.
