Athletic is really hard to define you could be an international rugby prop or a shot putter and look way different to a rower...

Tbh love an athletic body as I know the dedication and hard work it takes and find them aesthetically pleasing so I stalk Instagram when it comes to actual guys I'd meet it's about chemistry and that spark and nothing wrong with a dad bod.

Even though I'd like the chance to lick Nutella of a six pack lol

Personally I prefer athletic over a 6 pack. But the body isn't as important as the person I know that's such a cliché but it's true. Dad bods are attractive as well and if the guy can have the craic and banter then he's immediately going to be more attractive to me.

standing on a spot

behind a pretty girl

...just waiting for her to turn around to

comment about his muscles or even chat him up.

She did neither...

He was standing there for 10 minutes

and was seriously cringy

...and that's when I realised that

Well I don't go to a gym or anything.

So I am average. I think the Rugby body is just a bit fatter than me. I think they need the fat for fuel for their sport. Athlethic is obviously someone who competes in a sport and is tonned and fit.

Out of shape, or dads bod or whatever they call it is popular too. I guess that could be called the average due to so many people being out of shape.

When I look back on photos, I've had various shapes of body, from Arnie in my weights days, to Athletic in my marathon days, to skeletal in my travelling days. Now, I'm probably athletic/dad bod. It made absolutely no difference to how woman related to me. Personality, kindness, charm and respect matter so much,.. And we Irish are considered very charming by most other nationalities.

I steer clear of very visibly built / toned guys for fear of this precise attitude of negativity about anyone who isn't thin.

Don't care about body type, but how a guy thinks about body shape and size is important to me.

I personally prefer the more toned athletic look rather than body building muscle mass but that's just me....everyone should be happy in their own skin and I'm attracted to all types of women from slim and toned to curvy....depends more on sex appeal and personality than body stats.
