OK looking at canaries for a hol. Seeing loads of deals at great prices for cpls and family's. But try to get accomadion for 1 is a nitemare. All suggestions welcome

Maybe Sunsearchholidays.ie they seem to do solo traveling..i have been several times as a solo and yes it can be more expensive but I search specifically for single hols and usually find something..enjoy

Air B&B for accomodation...then book your flight...lots of people with apartments & properties that let them out over the autumn winter period, many only advertise on air b&b

Don't book a package holiday. Book your flight separately and then your accommodation . This I've found worked out a lot less expensive than going through an agent.

I always find travel republic great for accommodation and I always select my flights from Google flights always seems to work out well!

Unfortunately, singles pay mush more for accommodation when traveling on their own. The industry is geared towards couples and families.

AirBnB (whatever you may think of it) can have very good options for people traveling on their own. Definitely check it out also.

I have been to GC PDI twice and used AirBnB to book a small apartment that was perfect for one person. Great location. Hotels for one one person were far more expensive.

I booked flights separate.

My hot list in air bnb is longer than here lol. Loads of places on air bnb and because the guest and host have to post reviews it is very well monitored. I have found some amazing places on it and way cheaper as a person travelling alone. Heading away next week hopefully and again in November.

My hot list in air bnb is longer than here lol. Loads of places on air bnb and because the guest and host have to post reviews it is very well monitored. I have found some amazing places on it and way cheaper as a person travelling alone. Heading away next week hopefully and again in November.

Both those listings are in the same apartment complex. Perfect location. 5 min walk from beach. 5 min walk to Yumbo complex. 10 to 15 min walk to most popular clubs. Lovely pool. Shops around the corner. Could not get better. Mail me if you have any questions.

These are the details of my bookings in the same apartment complex in PDI Gran Canaria. Two different apartments. They were excellent for lone traveller. Both on Airbnb.

11 night's for 595e - Dec 2017 - San Bartolome de Tirajana, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. Hosted by Nerelys.

8 nights for 345e - Dec 2016 - Studio del Playa Del Ingles near Yumbo. Maspalomas, Canarias, Spain. Hosted by H.
