Ya I kept hitting walls and just stopping altogether, stuffing my face etc.....

I have stopped pushing so hard now and try to relax and enjoy my sessions instead of trying to beat pbs all the time.

I do 3 or max 4 sessions a week now instead of 6 and they are 30/40min sessions instead or 1 or 2 hours..

Starting to see results from not burning out now...

Have my own gym and began again this week. Had put it off for so long. No easy answer to it, just got a window and went for it. Was a tough hour getting back, but once you go once....

I did go 4-5 times a week but then work got busier and life in general took over and I've not seen the inside of a gym in about a year

sligo

start from the beginning again...

just get out of the house for a jog.. its amazing how good it is for your mental health and it will kick start you back going to the gym with confidence

I love running but don't go to the gym my work is physical enough for me

Just pick a day this week or next, dont start on a monday, amd decide either a short 1km run to start, or go to the gym for 30mins, and ease back into it.

The key is to continue it.

They say it takes 30 days to break a habit, and 30 days to form one. So just start small and stay consistent, and gradually build it up.

Best of luck with it

Set goals, and just cut out one bad thing every week or 2 , like no soda to start, then something else in a week's time etc and when u train just do something u enjoy or it's too hard to stick too. When your tired after a hard day u don't want to be dreading training, just not sustainable

Limerick

Get your sleep right, if you wake up tired you'll struggle to do anything. If you're sick of the gym then find something else to get you active again. Then set a tangible short term goal.

Best of luck
