That's a little annoying alright, or when you know someone has messaged you before but you didn't reply, and they keep on messaging despite getting a pop up warning to 'stop and think' each time they do, because you hadn't replied previously. I think ignoring warnings like that says a lot about someone's attitude.

Unfortunately this is an old complaint and one that is addressed regularly. It is not about manners or one thinking they are better, hotter or more popuplar than anyone else. It's actually practical. Unfortunately a common occurence here is that a thanks but no thanks generally results in numerous other messages and in some cases results in a barrage of insults. I don't read or respond to messages where the sender clearly has not read my profile. I have no illusions about myself and just because I don't turn heads in real life doesn't mean I should be grateful or thankful for any and all attention I get here. Yes we are people behind the keyboards but still strangers. We don't have to talk to everyone in a bar or club, we don't read and respond to all the unsolisited mail that comes through our doors or spam our emails either, why would here be different. You don't have to like the rules but you do have to accept and respect them. Peace people.

A polite no thank you would make it plain what the situation is.

No reply is a response. It means not interested. It's in the rules.

Well then the rules are wrong and should be changed.

Most of us are better then that and could acknowledge someone if even to say “thank you but am not interested”

I think particularly having chatted to or met someone and then no response is especially brutal, and again I would think most people are better than that and the rules are wrong and people should have their own code of decent behavior and respond if even just to say “thanks but no thanks”

I think it’s a measure of how meaningless some people consider the perspective of another person that they think these rules are ok.

Obviously I appreciate if some women, couples or men for that matter are so hot and sought after that they are are overwhelmed by the amount of messages they receive and couldn’t possibly read or reply to all the hundreds of interested people messaging them.. but everyone else not responding is questionable and to rationalise that by saying “ it’s the rules” doesn’t make it right..

Unfortunately this is an old complaint and one that is addressed regularly. It is not about manners or one thinking they are better, hotter or more popuplar than anyone else. It's actually practical. Unfortunately a common occurence here is that a thanks but no thanks generally results in numerous other messages and in some cases results in a barrage of insults. I don't read or respond to messages where the sender clearly has not read my profile. I have no illusions about myself and just because I don't turn heads in real life doesn't mean I should be grateful or thankful for any and all attention I get here. Yes we are people behind the keyboards but still strangers. We don't have to talk to everyone in a bar or club, we don't read and respond to all the unsolisited mail that comes through our doors or spam our emails either, why would here be different. You don't have to like the rules but you do have to accept and respect them. Peace people.

I got no specific pet hate , FAB is good for what it is and a good moan and groan will not make it better . Everyone comes with his/her own expectation , everyone has it’s on way to place oneself to market and sure as hell it doesn’t sell to everyone .

Get ta fuck outa that garden. I've paid in the past and it's not worth the fee just to see who looked at you or the ability to post a few extra photos. I agree, maybe could be worded less harsh, I might add it's missing the point of the site, namely a open welcoming scene not restricted to members only.
