Or do you prefer to open your mails straight to the point, meet arrangements right off the bat?

If we see a profile that catches our eye , we mail asking to meet for a social drink, the way we see it, you could be mailing for weeks, whereas if you meet you will know fairly quickly if there is a connection

Few messages and then arrange to meet socially and take it from there.. Like others said u don't want to be chatting for ages and then nothing comes out of it or their UNLOS..

It’s nice to gauge what someone is like with a few mails back and forth but not ping pong mails. You know by the time you’ve replied to mail number seven that you want to meet them for a chat and see where it goes or your being led to the edge of the cliff for some kind of bullshit. Non site supporters will have fallen by mail number two coz they’ve no clue what you wrote to them previously or what they replied. Although I am chatting to lady for the last few weeks and we are somewhere around 160 odd mails between us which is very unusual for me but distance doesn’t seem to be putting us off.
