"SIMPLE No glove No love No meet And certainly no exceptions " Oh, definitely but even between partners. I am not thinking now of a strangers. My thinking comes purely from health perspective. Forget for the moment of STI's and all. To make it easier I will give you a scenario: Couple is playing bareback, great anal, great orgasm. She did everything, back playground was clean and so on. After they had a shower. Next day she plays with him, oral first then regular fun. Few days later she feels sick, or has diarrhoea or she's itchy down below, or she gest some big red pimples on the bum, or just some fishy smell, or nothing. You name it. And it's not STI but simple infection we don't look at or think it is ok when smell some fishy perfum of the pussy. It is not but I am wondering if people are aware of it? Am I just making this complicated?

The answer to why is simple people prefer it and do not care or do not fully know the risks involved... same reason people have unprotected regualer sex

However messy sex with no protection or dipping from anal to pussy without changing condom can of course cause such infections.

No one goes to the toilet during play to wash their hands everytime when touching different person! Next question is why so many of people doesn't do anything about it? And if come across should we say something? The topic is so embarrassing itself. How to approach it?

"tend to stay away from those that go bareback" But the thing is, they don't do barebacks among others and as the topic moved on how would you approach it? Example, great time you have with the couple, you move to the hotel room, you start playing, everyone undressed, you go down to taste missus and here it comes, the scent of the ocean, or maybe Howth bay, what you do?

"As bad and all as that is what about the dopes that go to unprotected sex parties where they know one of the group has aids. Russian roulette...they think it's not as bad anymore as there is a cure. FFS. I have it from a doctor friend that this is happening now with the younger generation...again no glove no love. Be careful..." back to the 70 and 80s all over. But who it what mind would attend a party knowing someone has aids??? And isn't it the law to inform anyone you have sexual intercourse must inform the person that they have it? Ive never heard about these BB partys though. Saying that I was at clubs a few times and I'd see people with not a wrap of a condom on all on the one bed. Girls sharing sex toys an not washing them while swapping. And the guys either not arsed or to pissed to put on a condom. Thankfully it wasn't always the case but I have seen it.

" That's the thing though isn't it with group play when you have multiple people handling each other's bits and bobs...? It would be so easy to cause offence by asking someone to wash their hands when moving from one partner to another, when really you're just playing responsibly. Even just in 1-1 play if a guy was to make a point of ducking out to wash his hands before putting on a condom after some foreplay fingering, how many women would be just a little offended? I have to admit, even though I absolutely see the sense and responsible attitude in it, I would feel a little ![]() ![]()

Op, I think you approached that topic bit clumsy and sideways. Once you throw the word bareback out here, the STI alarm goes on and the condoms come out and the question you actually put out there got lost. If I understood you right you're talking about infections other than STIs you can fetch even by just playing with your partner/husband only, but themselves not being aware of having one but you noticing it immediately when the nose hits the pussy. What you can do? A) You refuse oral / do a runner with or without reason. B) you battle through it ![]()

Once it goes in the bum it doesn't go anywhere else til it's washed. But I never really had any issues beyond a very occasional UTI, which can be caused by anything from dirty hands to rough sex to sex toys or nothing at all. It's not really a concern unless you're squeamish about poop and poop germs and if you are, just use condoms if you want!

"I think, and like someone said above, I've started the topic from the wrong side. Firstly, I would like to say I don't judge people here and I am not planning to, ever. We are all grown ups and do what we like. The idea struck me after seeing so many photos with bareback anal play. It got me wonder if people are aware of the risks they take even between themselves, in long relationships. Just a loose thoughts. Going further in reflection, I decided to ask people what they think and how they approach different scenarios. We often hear in social media about STI's and ways of transmission but what about everything else. I was puzzled. Adding up some experience where we had to politely evacuate as there was a question mark regarding hygiene, forced me to contemplate even more. If there are any signs of infection in someone why people still play...are they not aware? Both parties, giver and receiver. Would you say it nicely if noticed? Would you stop or carry on? Do you mind? Those kind of questions buged me terribly. I also have no doubt that there is no way to avoid, and there would be no fun at all but minimising the risks by awareness is the key in my opinion. We are very fresh in swinging scene as a couple and willing to explore and try different things. When we get into situation where things gets steamy, we enjoy ourselves without antibacterial gels and washing hands every two minutes. But we do take care of ourselves. It's the perspective of experienced individuals here, which by the ways is very building and constructive, I was looking for and when post moved along, even advice, hence my post. I hope this sounds clearer what was the purpose of my thread but if not I have no idea how to put this and please disregard. " Many infections have no visible symptoms. Several STIs are spread by skin to skin contact and thus condoms do not protect fully. Many people here engage in unprotected oral and rimming, the latter carries risk of intestinal diseases and parasites as well as STIs. Best not to worry about what others are doing and decide on the level of risk you personally are comfortable with, getting tested regularly regardless of your practices - the only safe sex is no sex.

"The topic of STIs is often discussed on here but I've never seen a thread like yours adressing other genital infections such as BV, trush, UTI etc. I think there's a lack of information and communication regarding the latter. Anyone can catch one of those even someone having no sex at all and fetching one doesn't mean you've a poor hygiene (but sometimes it's connected). Anyhow women are much more prone to UTI for obvious reasons. Anal-vaginal dipping even with a condom, the use of (baby) oil as a lube, dirty unwashed hands etc increase the risk of fetching a BTI or a vaginal infection. Not everyone gets the whole set of symptoms when having one, but there might be no harm to read up on them if you have no idea what they are. As the op mentioned fishy smell, that points clearly to bv, nothing to be ashamed of, it's a sensitive bacterial balance down there that can tip over for various reasons and it can be easily treated. I shut up now and have a lady wank (with clean hands). " Put on some Marigold gloves too DH (double the protection!) ![]()

There is also a higher risk the more often you change sexual partners.

We have anal sex very regularly, always bareback (with each other only), and have never had any health problems relating to it. If people were that worried about any kind of germs they'd probably just never have sex ![]()
