As you may be aware, the Leaving Cert

results are out in a few days

...So, how did you celebrate the day or night

you got your Leaving results?

Maybe you weren't allowed out on your LC night

because of what you got up to on your JC Results night?!!

Went to the movies with the lads first

...then we went down to the PINK ELEPHANT

(before it was snobby REYNARDS ...)

where we managed to drink a whole cocktail each

...I sh1t you not!

...followed by some Quasar in the 24 Hour Dundrum Bowl...

We haden't quite discovered women then

Haha I can neither confirm nor deny your theory, simply because I can't remember

JC results night involved a lot of raw vodka and climbing onto the roof of a local car dealership. Needless to say the day afterwards involved some kids that were late to school and sore heads

Well.. I was in italy at that time, so system completely different... I remember calling my teacher becore the official results and she disclosed to me my score...so..i only had to wait for the official. Results to be published...

There was no celebration, just happiness for the score that was unexpectedly high...

I was well 18 at the time so drinking in pubs and clubs was nothing new.

Joined my friends in the pub about 10am on the morning and drank for the day before at some stage went home got changed and headed into town and ended up in club one in cork.

It was a Good day/night

. ....ah the simple life.

I was out in Dublin , We drank cans of Guinness during the day, straight from the can , that evening we went to The Harp Bar I think it was called at the time , right at O Connell Bridge . I then afterwards very stupidly swam from one side of the Liffey to the other as a dare

I will take the risk of being a party pooper but please for those parents or friends who have someone getting their results tomorrow please be mindful that not everyone gets the results thet expected and some may think its the end of the world etc so please keep an eye on them and make sure that they understand that it doesnt define them, its not the end of the world and the future can still be bright.

Waterford

I only remember going to the pub with two of my classmates at around 3pm and the bar tender knew what was going on so he just asked for at least one ID between the three of us.

My mate had turned 18 a few weeks before so the bartender served him the drinks knowing me and the other lad were under 18.

Pretty sound of him.

That's about all I remember of that day or night.

I know we met up with a few others later in the day but can't remember any of it.

Newbridge

For my Junior Night out I went to Nijinsky on the Curragh after walking from Newbridge to get there getting in the door. To just see my older brother and sister there. Had to turn around and leave before I was seen.

Think I went to a gig for my leaving cert.
