I think a fuck buddy is someone you meet for sex. Ye you get on but you just have sex and go back to your normal lives.

A Fwb is someone who you can hang out with more go for drinks or a meal etc and also have sex with. But it's not a relationship you are still a single person. You are just friends who sleep together.

That's how I see them anyhow. Both are good and should be drama free.

Yeah that's the generalisation of it and pretty much how I see it. However I'm learning it's not that general for everyone so I wondered do ppl adopt it to suit them .. like meeting on the spur or once a week 2 times at mth etc..

I think if your both on the same page with fwb than it will work, but if your meeting to go out for drinks and meals and sleeping your more dating just not labelling. Fuck buddy is probably better to meet regularly and not do the meals and drinks

I have to agree with you and Boo

Having FwB for me is more important than having FB. I'm a single mum but also want to go somewhere and spend that time with someone who has similar interests and if we will be hungry for more... Then voila! We do things spontaneously.

Think the big issue with regular meets is that the dreaded feeling can creep in from one side or other. Nothing wrong with meeting someone on multiple occasions but need to avoid becoming to friendly. My opinion anyway lol

I had a fwb. It was meant to be just sex but the feelings grew on both sides. We were both married but not to each other obviously. The sex was amazing but we clicked on so many levels. It's over a year since we had sex but we see each other all the time. She lives close by. Only ended as her husband found out
