Why are adults not trusted to have debate? Why do adults need protected from debate? Why are some debates shut down, when it is an ongoing international debate? Is this what 'safe spaces' are like?

Can you give an example so we can better understand what you would like discussed?

If he goes into details he won't look as edgy and rebellious just like a standard whinger

In general though. That thread aside. Why does debate seem to always get shut down these days? Discussion is important.

Site rules to stop it getting out of hand. We are adults yes. But the site has rules in place. It stops the snowball growing into other topics within the group. Said item is an illegal item thus cannot be discussed, even between adults. Also this is to to with the forums being available to non members of the site.

I disagree that in general discussion gets shut down.

We have far more outlets for communication and information than any previous generation in this country and than a hell of alot of this generation in other countries

Am not part of Admin

...but I can see why they might take down certain threads

that they don't want to relate to swinging.

Certain radio shows (like Joe) or Sunday scrag newspapers would love to see some lovely updates where people are looking for "sniff" or threads where drugs are openly discussed and use all that as an angle to link swinging to illegal activities...

Makes for good headlines

So, maybe Admin wants to keep things above board and not give media outlets any opportunity to link swinging with promoting illegal activities in any way

I.e.. Promoting clean and legal dirty fun!

That's my take but would have to have seen thread to know more...

I suppose, rules are there for a reason and the prerogative of the site owners. Reading the comments here, i can appreciate why.

Pretty stupid thread. Fab is a private company and has responsability to ensure it doesn't promote illegal activity. Also, as long as it pays for and hosts the content then it can set whatever rules for forum poststhat it likes. If you don't like it then go find another site, or make your own and post whatever you like.

"A thread was removed and i don't see why. One about a certain plant"

I got a 24 hour Fab ban a few weeks ago for discussing the use of a certain plant.

The reason given to me was that any member talking about taking part in an illegal activity is against the rules as the police could become involved and the admins don't want that.

Pretty reasonable as it is their site so I had no complaints.

Yes, agreed.

Fab is not part of the Dark Web.

They don't want to be associated with illegal activity.

Well yeah, its the new left wing liberal attitude.

You're free to do whatever you want, except express a christian belief or own a gun.

We need safe place from the thoughts of the toxic man.

You're not prevented from doing either of those in this country although there are terms and conditions attached to owning a gun

I'd really have to disagree with a couple of comments. Common sense and the if you don't like it comment. Firstly it's a debate about legalisation. A debate that happens regularly in the corridors of power. So why can't we debate it? Were fabbers stopped from debating and discussing abortion?
