local

Been on fab abit now and I'm finding a few issues,

I'm from Derry and I'm finding that because it's relatively a small town no1 wants to meet because of the close proximity and smaller population and everyone either knows each other or friends of friends.

If it was a larger city, Belfast or Dublin for example would this be different

Anyone else finding this an issue.

Waterford

I find Waterford to be a difficult location, possibly as like you said, small city where everyone seems to know everyone's business.

I get on a lot better message and chat wise with ladies up the country than here in Waterford but I'm not too keen on traveling too far so it inevitably goes nowhere.

But perhaps the 'small town/city' thing is not the case as I see quite a few South East socials going on and looking at veris, clearly people are meeting here so it must be me.

I do find it easier to chat to ladies who aren't that close to me though so maybe it's a psychological thing going on in my head.

Who knows?

Somewhere in Co. Down

I live pretty rural and I won't meet anyone too local to me. I prefer to keep my fab life and my real life separate .

your imagination

I prefer not to meet locals. Too close for comfort. I think I'd be the same though no matter where I lived. A little distance is a good thing... You can't miss someone or look forward to next time you see them if they never go away

I understand keeping things separately but I'm on fab for fun not for social friends. Not like I'm gonna start an awkward conversation in the street with someone I've met on fab ??

I’ve had one or two issues with local people. But I suspect that those people would have been a problem no matter where they were. So it hasn’t put me off. Like you said. It basically boils down to respect.

You might not, but someone else may... Not everyone has the same definitions of discretion. I spoke to someone recently who'd had a former meet walk up to him in a bar, squeeze his crotch, and tell the girl he was chatting with to give him a go because he was great in the sack

I met a girl 4 miles from me. Occasionally bump into her in town. Totally discreet though. As she says " what goes on tour stays on tour"

Killarney

I live in the country 2 miles from Killarney which is a large tourist town. Nearly impossible to meet anyone local so I travel for meets and attend socials when I can.

True and I'm the same if I met anyone who I knew out in public I wouldn't say anything to them but not everyone is discreet I've already had one guy who lived local hassle me on here to meet and the way he was speaking he definitely wasn't going to keep quiet. So I prefer to keep my fab life private and meet people who aren't living just down the road from me.

Newbridge

Playing local can. Be ok but can also go horrible if the other person decides to be a bit of a stalker or a creep. Even if things go sour you never know what someone could say to someone else.

For me personally I don't really care, I've nothing to hide and I'm sure there are one or two have recognized me on here the same as I have them, but we're all adults and all here for similar reasons so what's the harm.

You need to be close but not to close, far but not to far

Dunboyne & Dublin

Well they say there's only 6 degrees of separation between people but unfortunately, for swingers, in Ireland, that seems to reduce to 3 or 4, so much harder to keep it anonymous

Bangor

I live in a small town and its a minefield, everyone knows everyone.

But for decades its been notoriois for its swinging scene and no one seems to care! Ive bumped into people i know and social m&g in Belfast. At times you feel like taking a step back then realise we are all here for the same time so enjoy it while you can
