I have seen a number of women's profiles state that they would like to get a good first message rather than just "Hi" or "Wanna fuck?" While the reason for this is bloody obvious, what actually constitutes a good first message is less so. This is made all the more difficult by the fact one really knows nothing about the person they're messaging (and some profiles say very little), and everyone has different tastes. So, what do y'all think? Are there any good tips for a good first message?

To me a good first message is one I would find interesting myself.

As you said some profiles have little or nothing of interest so just dont message them!

If something actually catches your eye (some great pics, a funny profile, interesting status updates or forum posts) then referemce that

these posts always come up in forums, 99%of the time messages wont be read or they are read and they check out profile and are not intetested. just plug away on forums and go to a social if you can

I guess it depends on the person messaging and the type of message then, I would say I have a slight bettee rate that 1%......

Maybe your not the best person to be giving the OP advice if your batting 1%

Yes getting to a social and involved on here will help get meets but that wasnt the question the OP asked

Well I got reported for being in relationship and that's why my profile was changed to couples, so No, you don't get banned. Just depends on what you're reported for

Quite a few single profiles have been changed by admin to couples profiles ; mostly for the woman only ever meeting as a couple with their fb/partner

I would understand if their profile would be in any way misleading or deceptive.

Every single person here and elsewhere is entitled to take a break or meet someone on their own terms without having to broadcast it to everyone.

Just because someone got rejected or felt butthurt over not fitting someone else's criteria - doesn't give them grounds to go around reporting them for no valid, genuine reason.

Genuinely think that profile police would be better off hunting genuine creeps, malicious bullies and stalkers.

There's not many women on here as is - pushing women away even further is not going to achieve anything good in a long run.

When people message me "tell me more about Tantra massage?".. I wonder what they mean. I could write essays on it, there are 0000,s of books on it and endless online info. But, I can't write an essay here. So, my preffered message is,

1. From the female half of the couple

2. You have made a few enquiries, know what you want,

3.open to chatting more here and building up a friendship

4.tell me a little about yourself and what you like.

If you do this you are very likely to get to the top of the list and have a great massage..or two.. or three.
