I really think that you should leave your car at home and think of the environment. Why don't you just go backpacking nice sleeping bag under the lovely star's so romantic and I'm sure the first day you will get to little island. Thumbs up

Game of thrones and titanic exhibitions in Belfast. Go by train and just stay over the one night was looking at the Titanic hotel deals the hotel itself would be a treat spectacular rooms. Bray festival will be on soon and the air show your dates might match it’s usually a good festival. Enjoy your break anyway

The Road to Nowhere

Sunny South East...start off in Co. Waterford...go along the coast, greenway in town there. Tip along to Wexford on the ferry and make your way up to Wicklow. Glendalough is amazing!

Dunboyne & Dublin

Currently on the Hook Head peninsula in Wexford and it's beautiful. Lots to see, gorgeous beaches, some gorgeous food and craft beer, crap wifi/mobile signal, so all enjoying family time old style

If that's what you're looking for obviously.

Haven't seen an ankle bracelet yet

Absolutely second that! Hook Head area is a gem. You won't need an ankle bracelet in the little hotel in Duncannon, the bedrooms are over the dining room with paper thin creaky floorboards, it'll be obvious what your into!
