Jaysus I know that services in Roscommon hospital have been curtailed but surely you need to do a google search for a physio??

agree with the above, go and see a specialist! don't mess around with your back and get a massage by an amateur

I'm currently seeing a chiropractor. He's a proper cutie but also a torturer lol

Can't help with a 'specialist' (if there really is such a thing. The main thing after a back injury is to REST. Modern thinking is not to lie in bed but trying to stay as active as possbile. However your body will tell you how much or little you can do, so listen to it.

Be wary of who you see, there are many people who make a fortune out of patients with back problems.

realistically souds as if you guys either have or will have arthritis,i have in back and neck.same as you guys docs say to keep active lol i try my best and the worst thing for it???? yes you guessed it sex so needless to say try to be in pain as much as poss exercises dont work, walking dont work, only thing that seems to work is heat have to move to a volcano lol

nah I had to slipped discs 20 years ago, one in my lower back and one in my neck.

It's all coming back to me now.

So hopefully I won't have to deal with arthritis as well!

Any updates from the OP?

wel i took the advice here and kept active. Now where as i wouldn.t consider myself overweight or skinny tho i prob need to loose some weight i dont think it has caused my sore back. Simply gettin outta the car caused it. Its from an old car accident. . . But as for sex bein bad for ur back. . . I think i.ll keep up the sex and put up with the bad back

Not sure about sex being bad for the back. In fact it is well known that giving up certain physical activities can lower mood and increase pain symptons.

However if you must jump off the wardrobe, make sure you land on something big and soft.. BBW's chest for example!
