How do you cheer yourself up and face the Monday back to work "harsh" reality, an emptyish bank account and a pile of problems waiting for you to resolve them?

I make sure the back-to-work day is never Monday, make it a Wednesday or Thursday and it's only a couple of days to the weekend

Failing that, start planning your next break immediately

I returned from a 3 week holiday 2 weeks ago but didn't go back to work until the Tuesday. It helped a bit but having a week off in early August softens the blow a bit

I have to start on Monday and the weekend is burning fast.

I am almost crying inside.

If you like your job, every day is a holiday... or near enough at least!

Problem solving is in the job description, there would be no need of me if there weren't issues to work on.

We’re heading to Bali Monday week! We’ve heard so many good things about it and have seen some amazing photos that we are not looking forward to those post-holiday blues on the flight home this year. Don’t know how we’ll cope
