"It baffles me how in the age of smartphones with auto correct and dictionaries built-in, people still can't seem to manage to spell correctly, nevermind construct a legible sentence! Also a major pet peeve of mine is the misuse then/than. But it's too nice a day out to let minor annoyances ruin the seldom seen Irish sun! "They are spelling it correctly though. They're just using the wrong word completely. I can cope with misspelled words, that actually doesn't bother me but misused homophones really annoys me. Haha | |||
