No they don’t and even if they did they would still break them,I drive for work every day Hgv and it’s hard work I’ve not only to think for myself but every other fooker I meet on a daily basis

Don't start me on motorway driving...

1) On a 3 lane motorway, e.g. part of the M1....you cannot just drive in the middle lane and cruise alone, especially if there's no other traffic..

2) the right hand lane is not the fast lane to stay in, it's for overtaking only. You see this on 2 lane motorways, hardly anyone in the left hand lane...and a line of 20 cars in the right hand lane

Don’t get me started.

Sunday drivers.

Motorbikes.

HGVs.

Show off drivers (drive up your whole until you pull in and then speed off, usually end up in their destination a whole 5 seconds sooner).

I drive an Audi though so I’m probably top of most peoples lists

And on a dual carriage way like the n11, there is no fast or slow lane, or overtake lane. Its not the "lets do 20kph over the limit lane" either. Its perfectly okay to potter along in the right lane, usually cause youre turning right soon.

Drive up the n11 at the speed limit and every car will overtake you.

Go driving anywhere outside of Ireland. See the lesser number of traffic lights, outside of urban areas in comparison to her, especially roundabouts.

Summation - either the majority of irish drivers haven't a fucking clue or the NTA are bankers.

I'm thinking it's the former, from my experience.

Yes, I've driven a lot on the continent and even managed Asia so, I consider myself a good driver, before asking about my experience

My beef is it with the drivers although some are terrible .it's with the speed detector vans .

Example...the town of balbriggan .if anyone knows it .very very busy traffic . And in the middle of the town the van parks ..in a 50k zone .now with the volume of traffic there .cyclists are going faster than the cars .yet he sits there for hours .while a mile away on the ring roads it's like mondello park .anything goes ..boy racers etc etc ...people afraid to cross the road s .who is running this service..who pics parking places .I always thought it was for possible accident black spots ..I doubt if he ever gets anyone speeding there. Even if you wanted to. You can't..

..women applying make up at traffic lights and continue to do so after the light turns green..

....women on their phone in the turn right lane at traffic lights don't see the green arrow to turn right...you beep ( and no ..not standing on the horn ) to let her it's turned green and by the time she's copped on it's too late ...

....and no l'm not against women drivers ..some are totally Brilliant drivers .. absolutely...but some just take the fucking biscuit...and yes l've experienced both occasions in mentioned situations...

I hate the way cars nowadays don't have indicators! Especially on a roundabout. Of course it wouldnt be the drivers fault

Another pet hate are cyclists!

I dont mind them in general but hate the way it can take you ages to get past them then at a traffic light the blighters creep up between the traffic and YES they are in front of you once again

Plus..can someone set me clear on this.

If you overtake a group of say 6 cyclists and another group in front of you that you are waiting for oncoming traffic to clear to pass them so obviously going at their speed......can a cyclist in the group you just passed, try to overtake (or us it undertake?) you on the inside as you arnt going fast enough yet you cant due to cyclist group in front?

Its roundabouts that annoy me so much, most people havnt got a clue what lane to be in, if you taking firat exit or going straight across you use the left lane unless the lanes are marked, if going further around its the right lane, then you get some fucker in the right lane who is going straight on and they just cut you off as you are turning

Speed vans everyone slowing down to 5mph when approaching them..

Headlights not adjusted correctly..

Just to let you know the hard shoulder is only to be used if you have a breakdown, it is against the law to pull into the hard shoulder to let someone pass you, it is up to them to pass you when it is safe to do so.
