Your precious cock has an unusually high chance of catching an STI in a sexually active community like Fab. If you like risking your own health that's OK, but by not using condoms you are risking your lovers health. Have a Google at pics of genitals with STI infections. It's shock therapy, and will put you off your dinner, but it works. Why take an unacceptable risk?

I wouldnt put myself at risk. Each to their own but it isn't something I'd partake in. My advise is always look after your own sexual health and if you're actively meeting then get tested regularly.

Can't understand how people don't practise safe sex whether you are on fab or not.

Obviously if you are in a relationship there is a grey area.

We won't meet/engage with single guys who have pictures up of bareback.

Recently a guy mailed who had pictures up of bareback sex, we replied saying we only meet people who practise safe sex.

He replied saying he got tested every 3 months.

Getting tested doesn't stop infection, it highlights it.

On meets we always practise safe sex and we also get tested regularly just in case.

Everyone has their own levels of risk, for most that goes as far as condoms for sex but no further.

We have met couples who (rightly or wrongly) will not meet people that they see as a higher risk group, this can include bisexual men and certain races who statistically might hold a higher risk. These couples actively look at national race and sexuality STI stats and avoid higher risk demographics entirely. Equally we know couples that prefer married men over unattached as they see married men as lower risk based on less time to meet so less partners (again, rightly or wrongly here).

Safe sex is always a smart move, where you see risks or the ability to lower them after that varies drastically.

It’s important to talk openly and I feel that anyone who takes offence at being told no to bareback or any meet for any reason is best avoided.

Maybe they do! For couples picking single men it’s actually not a bad idea to cut out demographics that might be higher risk, there are so many guys here that it’s certainly one way of cutting them down!

Makes sense to cut out demographics, specially when you have clear consise stats on the issue.

If that means you miss some bi play or someone from leeds then you're not really missing out, not with the amount of people on here. If those risks are okay with others, then they can have the fun with them, so the people with them risks dont really miss out either.
