Those guys are the reason that now you can say that.

Could start a new thread but better stay quiet .

On those days "kids" as old as 19 stormed beaches , now a days they get upset and report you for a fabs comment

Yup... imagine ..19 yr olds going off to war and with a huge chance of never coming home again..and so many didn't...and tbh even today when you see what previous generations went through to make sure everyone in this country could have a vote and then so many don't bother voting...can't understand it but hey ..that's life l suppose

My uncle. Went to work in Birmingham at 18 yrs of age ...joined up when war started .came home to say goodbye to his family at 19 .and went to Europe on d.day ....never came home .story was from his sister..my mother that he survived d day .but was killed at Dunkirk .....
