It's the Breen, but sadly we never got their full back story.

All we know is the klingons are afraid of them, federation is afraid of them, they have some of the most powerful hand held weapons in the whole of the star trek universe, they can take out whole armada of federation ships with one weapon. That they use advandced organic bio technology. Empaths cant read them and universal translators dont work on them.

Basically it became a running joke that they are the most badass aliens in star trek but never actually caused any trouble for anyone. They sit over in this dark section of the star trek map.

The reason given for this is that they are miners and as long as their mines are left alone they leave everyone else alone so leaving their section of space alone means they never cause trouble.

Tribbles! Enemy of the Klingon Empire and the stars of the amazing DS9 / Origional series crossover episode: The trouble with Tribbles.

I mean, come on people, you guys wonder why you can’t get replies but you forget about Tribbles? Every woman wants a Trekkie!

I loved Borg episodes. They were always badass.

Also, I think The Founders/changlings were pretty dangerous, they had whole species worshipping them, when really they were dictators.

correction they joined the dominion in DS9 during the dominion war story arc and did so to annex federation and carassdian space so they cause trouble for a lots of the races in star trek

The Borg were the ultimate villains, even if their story was changed a few times.

Q was designed by Roddenberry to be a villain but he certainly wasnt a villain in the traditional sense, and his character development was amazing

Definitely the borg with khan coming in a close second. I don’t think of Q as a villain really
