Hey everyone. In new to the site but I'm finding it hard to get any replys from mail.

Before you say it. No I don't send dick pics in my first mail.

I'm always polite and respectful. Never looking for a quickie.

What's the point in that. I'd rather take my time to ensure everyone enjoys it.

If anyone has any advice I'd really appreciate it.

Men far outnumber women and couples here, so you have to put in a lot of effort and be very patient. Try not to take the lack of response personally, it's simply that you don't appear to be what the other party is looking for and there's little point getting into conversations that go nowhere.

For single males, getting to know a few people via social events is probably a good move.

Ya I'm trying for the social meet so I can get verified.

I imagine being verified helps a lot. Wouldn't expect anyone to meet without it first being social meet first.

If u don’t send tons of mail u will get absolutely nowhere. Either send mail, put up some interesting status updates ( I’ve got several meets purely from a funny/ zany status update which prompted people to mail me) , and put up more , varied pics

Off the top of my head

1)Your location Galway isn't as active as other places.

2)You can't accommodate which will put people off

3)You are unverifed. Try if possible to get a coffee meet for that all important verify

4)Not much effort put into your profile. You need to stand out from the crowd around here. So put some effort into your profile and spend some time on your profile

Really you need to understand that Fab may be a swing site but it's not dial a ride. You need to put in the effort to reap the rewards.

Women get hundreds of messages a day . A lot do not get read . Or they might get read but they are busy with someone else or after a few days there are many hundreds of messages and they get bulk deleted . I mail until I get a reply or a read/deleted message. I sent a mail this morning and it was read then immediately deleted which says to me no thanks .

Was never any good at filling out profiles, but I'll try I'm best to improve it.

Ya main reason I wanna social meet if to be verified. I say it helps a lot.

There are plenty of threads on here giving advice, do a quick search and you will find a few which will be helpful

You need to put more effort into your profile , what you like, don't like, what you expect, don't expect

Verification isn't the holy grail despite people thinking it is, yes it can help but you aren't all of sudden going to get a flood of mails just because you have been verified.

I wouldn't be sending loads of mail,I try to be selective in who I contact,and try to pick up on something in their profile that might prompt them to reply, or alternatively send a jokey message!... If it makes them smile they might just reply!..PS,I would suggest never sending a crude joke!

A few things OP...

You're only on the site 3 weeks.. That's 5 minutes in swinger years

Make sure you read profiles thoroughly and are within the person's age range, and that they are actually looking for single men. A lot of us don't reply to messages when it's blatantly obvious that someone hasn't checked things like that. Even if you have checked, and are just outside someone's age range... Don't chance your arm and think you might be the exception to the rule... Lots of guys think that.. It often just pisses people off.

As some others have pointed out, some might be put off by smoking, others might need someone who can accommodate, and one nobody has mentioned yet... Height difference might be an issue for some of the more petite ladies

It didn't feel fair to push non smoking, then I still do a bit. Ya I read the profiles and try to show that I have in my mail. Respond to something on their profile. Nothing crude. Guilty of chancing the age range alright. Thanks for all the advice. I really appreciate it.

I wouldn't push the height issue. if a lady has her height preferences, she has her reasons. Unless she spent most of her adulthood in a convent, she's experienced enough to know what she does and doesn't like, and what works best for her

And for God's sake don't use the 'we're all the same lying down' line.... If you think sex just happens lying down, you're in for a bit of a shock when you do meet someone

OP I am not trolling but really think you should check your wording before start a thread cause by the looks of it you aren't getting plays never mind replays , wild guess here think you meant replies .

Now serious don't stress about it , just try not to message all women on the site ( that way you will remember the ones you messaged and just deleted the message or read and deleted , that means they are not interested ) .

And finally patience , patience grasshopper .

Love it when all the brilliant people give that shtick, "you have try harder to get a meeting to get verified" well no one will meet you If you're not verified. It's the same as when you go to a job interview right after college and they tell you you don't have any experience

Not true. I've met lots of unverified folk for coffee when I had time to spare for such things, and know plenty of others who do it too. I've even run small, free daytime socials for 20-30 people in different areas to allow folk to meet up, have a chat and a beverage, do a little networking, and get verified. I'd still be doing it if I could.
