I'm feeling left out. Should I get married so I can get divorced?

Magical Forrest

Yes shorten the time.

But this opens the whole package to the time being months.

The government will decide.

Personally 2 years is long enough.

Ye 4 years is a long time that should be reduced it’s hard enough splitting up without have to go through divorce for 4 years 2 years is plenty of time for both people

Yeah sick of people having to deal with the consequences of their choices, free abortions and divorces for all.

Hopefully it will be a resounding Yes I am separated two years and the thought of waiting another two years is quite grim

If people were forced to live together for four years before they get married it might save a lot of bother.

Your sarcasm.seems to indicate you should have a say on the the consequences rather the person(s) having free will to leave the marriage or choice over their own body.

As a pro-lifer do you believe child support should be paid from the moment a child is conceived ?

Didn't work in my case, but then IMO it's kids that really bring out the problems.

"As a pro-lifer do you believe child support should be paid from the moment a child is conceived ?"

Yeah I used to. I was pro free education, pro free doctors for children and teens, pro free dentists, and pro giving money to help raise chid, pro free university and pro giving pregnant women any money needed to help them care for their growing child inside them.

But that is my personal opinion, I live in a democracy where I was outvoted and I am a democrat above my own belief system.

So now do you agree that all state funding for children should be removed, schools should have funding removed, there should be no child welfare, single mothers should not be pushed up the housing list, that women are chosing to have their baby in poverty and that is their choice and the state which is now no longer pro life and not "forcing" them to have the baby now, no longer bares any responsibility at all for funding that child?

Or do you think that if someone decides to have a child in poverty, that me and you should fund that baby?

Two years living apart is plenty long enough for a former couple to know they are finished. 4 to 5 years in emotional and financial Limbo is barbaric.
