So when you go on a meet or for a coffee do you use your real name or an alias ? We tried the alias once but as soon as Mrs D met with the guy she introduced hersel with her real name.

I use my alias, always have. Some of the people I know here years even thou they know my real name call me brutus even outside of a fab setting

My town

I have close friends on fab and still most I call them by there fab name or a shorter version of the fab name. And when have been in company where the fab name would raise a eyeball as to why call them that, I find it hard to say there real name.

I call all my meets by their profile name

When I first join, I don't ask their real name because I'm worried that I am stepping into their privacy.

But now it has become natural for me not to ask their real name.

Most of them become good friends, and still I address them by their profile name.

A girl calls me paul from time to time. I was on another site and everyone said "we know its you paul" when I joined up with my id as something like "adam", so I edited my profile name to "paul" and just said "yeah you got me lol"

Used the site for 10 years as paul, about 5 people made it into my real life, and one of them keeps calling me paul.
