Should Fab Ban Men from viewing New Women??

So as we all know, women can get a huge influx of messages at times, primarily from single men!

This is especially true for the "New Women" who have just set up their profiles.

Many of whom have never experienced such a thing as this and its all very new, unnerving and can be to many quite scary as they dont know what you expect/ ways of fab yet.

Anyway, plenty of women abandon their impulses to experiment here when logging on and getting 100s of messages from men in the space of an hour... that must be terrifying for any woman that is just here to explore and figure themselves out.

So should Fab get rid of the New women section and give them a chance to build their confidence & test the waters without being chased out by vulgar dick pics from lads that wait for new women because nobody else here will meet them?

Thoughts?

When I first created my profile of fab I was totally overwhelmed by the amount of messages. The profile was quite provocative too which didn't help. So I ran for the hills.

Tried again with a 2nd profile and was a wee bit more prepared and just had to delete hundreds of messages those first few weeks.

Not quite so overwhelming now

Yeah you all make very valid points! And I agree!

Just seems like there are plenty of interesting women not sticking it out because of it.

Plus if we wait for all men you get act together and be respectful... we'll be waiting until the day of human extinction lol

I just think if it happened, it would prevent the rude abusive types messaging as much and the genuine polite guys would find them in the end anyway.... once they've had a chance to establish themselves a bit more and figure the site out better, rather than each time they change pages their inbox increasing by 15/20 lol

Just not being able to see that their New. Still pop up in all the other normal searches.

I actually dont even understand the benefit of that feature for either sex.

I think what fab could do, is to have an introduction to the filters available when setting up a female profile and maybe a warning of the message tsunami coming. Once filters are installed and the first message wave has passed, things turn very manageable.

Maybe no messages are allowed through for a week just like can’t post on forum etc. Like a cooling off period that you get to see what it’s all about before actually chatting. Surely they would be climatized by then and filters sorted.

As for the pitiful little comments, try to make an actual point guys... its just a debate.

I don't have any influence on fab admin, it wont be changing... breath now haha

I'll put it this way... how many women do you think search for new, unverified men with little to no info and no pics up mad to meet?

And then how many men do that? Lol

Im sticking to my guns... i just dont know why new people in general need to be advertised... can't they just join fab and weather you're new or not be searched for in the same way and contacted based on that?

Not getting at the OP but you make the site sound frightening, scary, overwhelming etc etc etc ... this is an adult site. If people feel frightened in any way st all they should delete their account and join a dating site... in my experience snd from the people I engage with this site is full of people just like myself, normal, genuine, funny etc etc and we’re all here for the fun aspect of it... if you’re not having fun even just messaging someone then it’s time to leave

However most of the men do, so i cant see this idea being very popular.

Yep..,I’ve had 3 women who fucked me then left.... just couldn’t cope knowing they’d had the best the site had to offer. ( it’s a bugger that their veri goes with them )

Have we not moved on from the mindset that we are the weaker sex and than men need to fix our perceived problems?

I’m assuming your question comes from a good place OP, but unless you have surveyed all of the women on the site and we have collectively told you that this is a huge concern for us and that our simple little brains can’t figure out the complexities of the filter or block functions or how we could raise the issue with admin ourselves, I’d say presume that we are doing ok and maybe suggest solutions to fix perceived issues for the single guys instead as I’m sure you have more first hand knowledge of those.

Well I agree with the Op when I first joined Fab in July I woke up to 402 unread messages. I ended up getting completely overwhelmed and immediately hid my profile. It felt like having to reply to work emails. I deleted most of the messages as I would have had to hire a sex-retary to answer them. I am sure I missed out on talking to lots of lovely people but I just couldn't cope. I eventually worked out how to use the filter and block button!

Secondly, ive never been of that mind set myself anyway... but hopefully those of who still are will.

Thirdly, it does come from a good place. And although id love to survey all the women on here i feel it would be a waste of time as this post was about women that join and leave very quickly due to the primal charge! Not anyone that is actually on the site now like yourself!

Fourthly, im sorry that you yourself feel that women have "simple little brains" as you're the only one who has brought it up and it had not been implied by anyone in any way before that...

I think its quite petty to try and make it seem like I implied that in any way!

Fifthly, this is a perceived problem for single guys... as with women that are interested in exploring their sexuality leaving the site early it is decreasing the amount of women on the site... which im sure plenty of single guys would think is a problem.

My first hand knowledge is quite broad in plenty of areas, Ill be glad to assist with any help you may need in those.

Btw, please don't try to make people out to be sexist, especially in this day and age..just because you disagree with a bit of a discussion... its a huge accusation to be throwing around. And tbh it says more about your own character than mine.
