Because a lot of people who use this website either:

- have no intention of meeting (ego boost)

- time wasters. Never ever have any intention of meeting.

- fake profiles.

- women who create single profiles but are really in couples

- stuck up jerks

Ah I could go on and on. There's about 100 men to every woman on here. From that women get the whole "kid in the candy store" mentality.

Go use pof. That's more of a hook up site that here because you actually have a chance of meeting someone there. Even if it took months.

Maybe look closer to home first before blaming others for your lack of results, you have a blank profile photo, you have a one word bio. What about that makes you think you'll stand out from the hordes of other men who have made an effort with their profiles? Have a look at the men who are getting meets and compare their profiles to your own.

We check profiles before reading messages and if someone cant be arsed to put in some effort to catch our eyes chances are they wont make an effort in other ways.

Absolutely.....I have pics....wrote things about myself...been patient as there's a lot of genuine ladies and couples...and yes...I've had meets..so you have to stand out and not expect it to land on your lap

Its not impossible OP or even difficult but might take a change of approach/attitude.

Lots of people use the sote in different ways, alot of people prefer a slower approach.

Getting to know someone on the forum or at a meet and greet.

Not many will respond to generic messages from samey profiles at random and are even less inclined to arrange meets with them.

A bit of publicity helps. I put a thread up recently called sex advert . Not 100% sure if that’s the reason why but meet last nite, one tonight and choice of 2 on Saturday. So don’t give up hope.
