Other than its not as important to the narrative and story...

Getting everyone there and into the castle.... the books do a better job of showing the difficulty getting into the castle.

I like the theory i heard that it will end with no one on throne as Brann will wake from his vision & then we get to see how it really plays out.

Honestly though i think he is controlling the night king. Jon will kill his love to power sword & then have to become night king to control walkers. All dragons will die in major battle between themselves hence their mother will want to die on sword as she is heart broken & when jon is night king he will have her as night queen.

When Cersi repaid the Iron Bank in full, thinking sje was being clever something Tywin would never have done, she removed her protection from them allowing them to switch allegiance to Daenerys who they prefer because she has Dragons...

I have a theory that Arya might be a new Red Witch, Sansa knows Cercei better than Tyrion, so it might be interesting to see who will be a new queen. I bet Sansa and her head will be Tyrion. Daenerys and dragons will be defeated by Cercei, so no dragons anymore. Jon Snow and Jaime Lannister will fight on the finale and both will die.

Battle tactics weren't great loads of lessons to be learned. I was watching going the dragons should doing more and be wiping out more of the white walkers rather than farting about. Plus the numbers and survivors didn't add up. Could have had a better strategy and make the numbers add up.give a better account.
